- starting at £28,884 FTE per annum, rising to £31,698 FTE per annum
- Grade 3, Point 20-23
- Additionally, £3,866 Inner London Weighting FTE per annum for Head Office based or
- £480 home-based allowance FTE per annum for Home-based
Location: Family Action Head Office or Homebased
For Head Office based roles, we typically work a minimum 2 days a week in the office. Our office space is wheelchair accessible and located in Hoxton, London, N1.
Note that this role requires travel to partner meetings and events, predominantly in central London (but also nationally). Applicants would need to be able to travel regularly, as required, to fulfil the needs of the role, even if home-based.

As Fundraising Officer, you will play an important role in helping us grow the income, engagement and support we generate through our corporate partnerships and wider fundraising activity. From building relationships with your own portfolio of prospects and partners to supporting volunteering, challenge events and fundraising campaigns, your work will help create meaningful opportunities for companies and individuals to support Family Action.
Working within the Corporate Partnerships team, you will help ensure our partners, volunteers and fundraisers have an excellent experience of supporting Family Action. You will also help us understand and demonstrate the impact of our work through high-quality data, reporting and financial insight, enabling the team to make informed decisions and develop stronger, more effective partnerships.
This is an exciting and varied role offering broad exposure to corporate fundraising and the opportunity to develop your skills and experience across relationship management, fundraising, events, communications, data and finance. Most importantly, your contribution will help grow the sustainable income and support that enables Family Action to continue making a difference to children, adults, families and communities across the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
• Support the development and delivery of corporate fundraising activity, including managing a small portfolio of prospects and partners, supporting prospect research and cultivation, corporate volunteering and contributing to the delivery of the Christmas Toy Appeal and other fundriaisng campaigns.
• Provide a high-quality experience for corporate partners, volunteers and fundraisers through effective communication, stewardship and relationship management. Coordinate supporter and challenge events, including the London Marathon, and develop engaging fundraising communications and materials.
• Maintain accurate and high-quality fundraising data and support the effective use of Salesforce and other fundraising platforms. Produce and maintain reports, dashboards and insight that enable the team to monitor activity, performance and partnership engagement.
• Support the effective financial and operational management of corporate fundraising, including donation processing, income coding and reconciliation, monitoring income and expenditure, and providing pipeline and financial analysis to support forecasting. Contribute to efficient processes and ways of working across the Corporate Partnerships team.
