At Family Action we support people through change, challenge or crisis. It’s what we’ve done for over 150 years. We protect children, support young people and adults and offer direct, practical help to families and communities. We see first-hand the power of family to shape lives, for better or worse, so we speak up for the importance of family in national and local policymaking, amplify family voices and represent the changing needs of families in the UK today.
As Fundraising Officer, you will play an important role in helping us grow the income, engagement and support we generate through our corporate partnerships and wider fundraising activity. From building relationships with your own portfolio of prospects and partners to supporting volunteering, challenge events and fundraising campaigns, your work will help create meaningful opportunities for companies and individuals to support Family Action.
Working within the Corporate Partnerships team, you will help ensure our partners, volunteers and fundraisers have an excellent experience of supporting Family Action. You will also help us understand and demonstrate the impact of our work through high-quality data, reporting and financial insight, enabling the team to make informed decisions and develop stronger, more effective partnerships.
This is an exciting and varied role offering broad exposure to corporate fundraising and the opportunity to develop your skills and experience across relationship management, fundraising, events, communications, data and finance. Most importantly, your contribution will help grow the sustainable income and support that enables Family Action to continue making a difference to children, adults, families and communities across the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
• Support the development and delivery of corporate fundraising activity, including managing a small portfolio of prospects and partners, supporting prospect research and cultivation, corporate volunteering and contributing to the delivery of the Christmas Toy Appeal and other fundriaisng campaigns.
• Provide a high-quality experience for corporate partners, volunteers and fundraisers through effective communication, stewardship and relationship management. Coordinate supporter and challenge events, including the London Marathon, and develop engaging fundraising communications and materials.
• Maintain accurate and high-quality fundraising data and support the effective use of Salesforce and other fundraising platforms. Produce and maintain reports, dashboards and insight that enable the team to monitor activity, performance and partnership engagement.
• Support the effective financial and operational management of corporate fundraising, including donation processing, income coding and reconciliation, monitoring income and expenditure, and providing pipeline and financial analysis to support forecasting. Contribute to efficient processes and ways of working across the Corporate Partnerships team.
Benefits:

- up to 6% matched-pension contributions
- enhanced paid sick leave and paid family leave provisions
- eye care and winter flu jabs vouchers
