Family Action & the Role’s Impact:
An opportunity has arisen in our Sheffield Neurodiversity service for a Project Manager to lead our small but impactful team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative manager to lead our team of 3 and develop the service in line with the requirements of commissioners and the community.
Neurodiversity Sheffield provide support for families living with neurodivergence through multi-agency drop-ins, parenting courses and professionals training. We have a comprehensive website where you can find out more about what we do. Neurodiversity Sheffield - Family Action

Main Responsibilities:
1. To provide leadership and supervision for a team of 3 staff members and oversight of sessional workers and volunteers.
2. Take responsibility for ensuring all work is undertaken effectively and in accordance with pre-determined services delivery models and in accordance with Family Action quality standards.
3. Promote professional and public awareness of the organisation’s work and of the views and needs of service users.
4. To liaise with commissioners and complete monitoring reports and evaluation as required.
5. To lead on safeguarding and respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns.

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• A recognised professional qualification (degree or NVQ 4) in social work or social care, health, education or equivalent experience.
• Experience of running the day-to-day delivery and coordination of a service
• Management and supervisory experience
• Experience of working with children and families with SEND- specialist knowledge and understanding of neurodivergence is desirable but not essential.
• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – enhanced level.
