Salary:
- £25,221 - £27,780 FTE per annum (£15,132.60 - £16,668 per annum for part-time, 22.2 hours per week)
- Additionally, £480 home-based allowance FTE per annum (£288 per annum for part-time 22.2 hours per week)
Location: Home Based with some travel

Your role will provide high quality business support to the Performance, Quality and Safeguarding team and the departments we work with. Your role would support us by booking meetings, creating agendas and leading on the work plan for the team, keeping us all on track to maximise our effectiveness as a team thereby pushing for better quality of practice across the whole organisation. You will also support the Communities of Practice (COPs) and the Family Action Tri-X Procedure Manuals.
Main Responsibilities:
To provide comprehensive business support to the Performance, Quality and Safeguarding team having an efficient, accurate and professional response to all communications, whether verbal, telephone, Teams, email or face to face.
To be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining systems as required to meet the needs of the Performance, Quality and Safeguarding team.
Work in partnership with the Performance, Quality and Safeguarding team, services and other colleagues to ensure a well-coordinated delivery plan and shared vision of the Performance, Quality and Safeguarding team across the organisation.
To provide business support to the Communities of Practice (COP), COP Task and Finish Groups and COP Lunch and Learn Sessions.
Develop and lead on the Business Support/Administration Community of Practice.
Work collaboratively to support and maintain the Family Action Tri-X Procedure Manuals.
To support developments, communications and updates of Intranet pages for Services, Communities of Practice and other areas of the Performance, Quality and Safeguarding work.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Experience of setting up and running office systems, keeping detailed records, and supporting various projects linked to the service.
• Excellent organisational skills, as well as excellent IT skills, including experience webpages, social media, TEAMS and SharePoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate information effectively to a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, parents and carers, external agencies and commissioners.
• The ability to take and write accurate and clear minutes of meetings and present in a professional format.
• An understanding of safeguarding issues and a commitment to Family Action’s procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
• Excellent organisational skills and time-keeping with a strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and manage a varied workload and to work autonomously and flexibly to meet challenging and conflicting deadlines.
• Ability to problem solve, applying creativity and innovation.
