Location: Central Bradford
We typically work 5 days a week in the office but offer the flexibility to work from home on occasions. Our office space is wheelchair accessible.

We are looking for an experienced therapist to help children and their families recover from trauma through abuse (emotional, physical, sexual, domestic and neglect) and traumatic bereavement. We specialise in working with developmental and complex trauma.
We deliver specialist trauma and attachment therapy. We are looking for therapists who are trained in a range of therapeutic modalities including, Dramatherapy, Art Therapy, Psychotherapy with training in somatic practices , Integrative Counselling, Family Therapy and other forms of Child Psychotherapy

Main Requirements:
You will be a qualified, registered therapist with additional training/experience in working with children. You will be skilled in working with complex trauma or keen to develop your therapeutic skills in this area. You will be trauma-focused in your approach and have experience of working with children, young people and their parents/carers. You may have additional clinical training in a specific trauma and/or attachment focused therapy (e.g. EMDR, TF-CBT, TF-Play Therapy, DDP, Theraplay). You will be able to think systemically about inter-generational trauma with an understanding of the different presentation and therapeutic recovery needs of children at different ages and stages. You will be committed to high quality therapy standards with a passion for using your therapy skills to facilitate good outcomes. As a team player you will be keen to share your skills and specialisms and also learn from others.
Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Child Barred List
