About Family Action
Family Action is a national charity supporting children, young people and families through high-quality, inclusive services across the UK. Our Gloucestershire Youth Support Service offers centre-based, outreach and detached youth work shaped by young people’s voices.

The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Youth Engagement Worker to help deliver our inclusive youth offer across Stroud and the Cotswolds. You will build positive relationships with young people aged 11–18 (up to 25 for care leavers and young people with SEND), providing engaging group sessions, 1:1 support, and outreach/detached work. You will contribute to early help and contextual safeguarding, ensuring young people feel heard, supported and empowered.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring experience in youth work, excellent communication skills, an understanding of safeguarding, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. You’ll be confident working independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a values-driven organisation that is people-focused, can-do, striving for excellence and rooted in mutual respect.

Benefits:
- an annual paid leave entitlement that commences at 25 working days, rising each April by one day, subject to a maximum of 30 working days plus bank holidays
- up to 6% matched-pension contributions
- enhanced paid sick leave and paid family leave provisions
- eye care and winter flu jabs vouchers
- cycle to work scheme
- investing in your professional development with ongoing quality training and career development opportunities

We are forward looking, ambitious and committed to continuous improvement. We are a people focused, can-do organisation, which strives for excellence in all we do and operates with mutual respect.
