Salary: £32,635 - £36,158 FTE per annum

Location: Hybrid with regular work from our Leeds office and regular travel around Yorkshire including East Riding, Hull, North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire. - Our Leeds office space is wheelchair accessible.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled social worker to join our specialist PAC-UK team. You will play a vital role in supporting Adult Adoptees and birth family members, helping them navigate accessing their adoption records and supporting with Intermediary services reuniting families together impacted by Adoption. With a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and the lifelong impact of adoption, you will provide expert advice, assessment and support across our specialist adoption services. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build trusting relationships with service users and professionals alike, and committed to delivering high-quality services that make a meaningful difference to people's lives. Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you will contribute to PAC-UK's reputation for providing sector-leading adoption support.

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
Our adult adoption support service works primarily with adopted adults and birth families. Adopted adults can access their records and receive an intermediary service and be supported through a reunion. Birth families are supported at the time of losing children to adoption, and supported with keeping in touch arrangements.

We are looking for a Social Worker who has experience of working directly with those affected by adoption. You will have experience and knowledge of adoption law and practice and able to liaise with partner agencies to deliver the service in Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire, and North Lincolnshire
