Salary: £25,176 FTE per annum (£20,412.97 per annum for part-time, 30 hours per week)
Location: Edmund Harvey Centre, Stockton-on-Tees, TS21 2EF
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)

We are looking for a conscientious, caring and flexible Family Time (supervised contact) Facilitator with an excellent track record of working with children, young people and/or families. You will join a well-established team to provide safe, welcoming and positively planned Family Time for the children and families we support. Family Time may occur in our local contact centre, community venues and settings, or in the home in order to best meet the needs and outcomes of children and their families.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborating with and working to direction given by social workers alongside the needs and preferences of children and their families; you will supervise Family Time contact ensuring that children are kept safe and that their emotional wellbeing is always prioritised.
You will promote and maintain contact arrangements that are agreed between all parties, managing risk around the Family Time as a priority. You will provide an opportunity for parents, sibling or other important adults to maintain positive relationships with their children/sibling. Where required, you will oversee practical and emotional support for parents; this will help to make supervised contact sessions are a positive experience for the children
Main Requirements
You will bring your knowledge and experience of working with children, young people and/or families whilst managing potential conflicts and risk. The ability to accurately write records and observations is desirable for this role. You will be joining the service as a valuable member of an experienced contact team.
You will have a strong track record of working with families and a focus on quality and safeguarding. With a client-facing approach you will be passionate about engaging our service users in all aspects of our work including co-production.
